Oh my god there is so much to talk about!
Well for starters I'm ok. I'm broke but I'm ok. They are going to shut my gas off, which sucks, and I'm negative $87 in my bank account, which also sucks but I'm ok. Things have been kind of an emotional rollercoaster as of late. Not all of it bad but not pleasant either. I have been putting more hours in to the shop with little reward, but with the nicer weather hopefully that will change, right? I hope so. I have not been able to really focus on my artwork much and because of that I have not had time to work on my graphic novel. (which uber sucks) Then they also transfered Joey to work in the city which I hate because I rarely see him now. So that makes me sad and he has been so exhausted because of the commute. So yeah lots of sucky things but I'm ready for some change. And so here comes the good news...are you ready? I knew you would be...Yesterday Myself, Melissa, and others were invites to Carlos' house (My padrino in Santeria) for a very important meeting...We are going to establish a Santeria church; It's called Temple of Orunmila and the faith of the Saints. Exciting isn't it? Well maybe not for you but for me it is. The coolest part about it (and also very humbling at the same time) is that I was asked to be apart of helping to set it up. I am officially the events coordinator. which I'm excited about and completely freaked out about it at the same time. It's a huge responsibility! It's really cool, but like I said frightening at the same time. It's going to be alot of work. Also, I'm going to be working on a webpage for our group (so yes, be prepared for me to post some logo concepts for the church and what nots) I just can't wait! It's exciting! I'm going to be neck high in paperwork to go over but it will work out!
Our first fundraiser is going to be a toque (drum circle) and it's going to be AMAZING! I'm so excited!
Ok, well I will be getting more things together for the graphic novel and I will be posting previews soon (hopefully) and I will be working on artwork and stuff too! I love you guys! See you soon!!! <3 <3 <3

Hey everybody!

I am still alive, despite popular belief! Well, it has been a bumpy few months trying to get everything together. I've quit Concordia and have devoted my life to working at Embracing Destiny Metaphysics in Wheaton, IL. In the process of all that I have been trying to get the comics together but I have had little success, between working, and doing a lot of custom orders and requests I have had to put that on the back burner for now. However, it's been hard because I have not had computer access until recently, and I do not have a scanner at the present moment...so the problem is this, how can I put out an issue by issue comic book series if it takes me a freaking year to put out each issue? I just can't do it in this manner, so from this point on Superstitions will become a graphic novel series, which I believe is a win-win situation for both myself as the artist and for my readers who can sit down and read a FULL story in a sitting or two. Not only is it more convenient to the reader but it is more economical. Paying $35.96 a novel opposed to spending $7.95 an issue. And because it is independent publishing it does cost more per individual issue opposed to purchasing a novel.
Well enough business talk for right now, plain and simple this means I will be taking down the two current issues of Superstitions on Lulu.com in a couple of weeks, try to find a scanner, and then begin working on the new graphic novels. If I get scanner sometime soon I can actually update my artwork on DeviantArt. :>
Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive and that I am doing well and that I have not given up yet. Hee Hee! :>

I'm still in the process of moving, trying to start my own online voodoo shop and services, working on comic book story stuff, once that's done I can work on comic book artsy stuff, I'll be working on some requests tonight, my only problem is my home computer blew up so I need to figure out how to fix it for the comic book and commission goodness.. my brain is toast, I have fluid in my lungs and a slight fever of 101, and I'm dying a slow and horrible death... and I'm still at work! :>

I loves you people... please do not give up your hope on me, I will come back with even betterer, shineyererer, and really cool art stuff.

Hey hey everbody,

how's everything? Well I hope? I got good good news, I found a new place, and it's not an apartment, but a small single level house, it's cute...it's about the size of a one bedroom apartment but it's so much better. I'm going to be moving in Nov. 1st and hopefully I'll have everything moved in pretty quickly, but yeah it's cool! I'll be working on comics again, and I will hopefully have the 2nd teaser out by Dec and the 2nd full comic out by Jan/Feb.! I'll be working on requests again as soon as I am settled in. so yeah it's good. ^^ *hugs*

Just a little update,
I'm gonna' go get my art stuff out of storage so I can keep working on issue #2 and some other projects I'm working on. I'm going to try get some art stuff done, I've been waaay too busy stuff, work has been nerve racking, and so has my home life. I have so much to do and no time to do it. :< Money sucks, becuase there is none. *hugs* love you guys now it's time for me to go back to work. bye.
